Australian bowler Mick Lewis’s debut was certainly a memorable one. After a sensational Andrew Symonds ton helped Australia to 322, New Zealand fights back to require 6 runs off the final over with 2 wickets remaining. Captain Ricky Ponting throws the bowl to Lewis and he produces a cool, calm and collected over filled with yorkers, a brilliant Clarke run-out and finished off with the run-out of Mills to win the game and the series.

Unfortunately for Lewis it all went down-hill after this, culminating in a pathetic 0/113 at Jo-berg which has seen him resigned to finishing out his career with Victoria.
